Encounter with a vegetable vendor (part -1)

My wife and I returned home last night after a week-long visit from our ancestral residence. The weather was extremely hot and humid. Additionally, the power supply was missing for several hours and several times a day due to unscheduled load shedding. We took our dinner on the way as we were late reaching home and were very tired too. The next morning, the Sun God seems to have raised early with full power and with the extreme humidity, the morning itself was terrible and it shows the sign of how the day will be. Luckily our society had a backup power supply, and I could sleep comfortably last night after a disturbing sleep last week due to the heat and power supply. I was relaxing after breakfast and decided not to go out to avoid the scorching heat outside. But, my luck has something else for me. My wife came to me with a big list, as there was no vegetable in the house since we were out for a week and shortage of some grocery items. With a big sigh of annoyance, I dressed up and took out my car to go to the local market not far off.

The vegetable vendors were occupying the entire footpath and there was hardly any space to park the vehicle. Luckily I got some space as one vehicle just went away and I put my car there immediately. With the hot sun above in full power, I decided to purchase my vegetables from the vegetable vendor near my car and leave as soon as possible.

The vendors put some plastic sheets above their heads to cover but that hardly helps them.

The air was very hot and difficult to be there for long. I took out the list and without seeing the vendor, read the list of materials to be put in my bag. Then I saw the vendor, she was a young lady of around thirty years.

The beauty of the young lady was a symphony of authenticity, a captivating blend of inner grace and external allure that left an indelible impression on all who crossed her path.

Her beauty shone through in every facet of her being. She possessed an unwavering confidence that was not borne out of arrogance but rather a quiet self-assuredness. It was in the way she held her head high as she navigated the challenges of her daily life, a silent declaration of her determination.

Her eyes were windows to a soul brimming with kindness and empathy. They sparkled with a genuine curiosity about the world, as though each person she met held a unique story waiting to be discovered. When she listened, it was with undivided attention, making you feel heard and valued.

Her smile was hiding her pain and an expression of radiant joy, an expression of the happiness that dwelled within her heart even after all the odds. It was a smile that could light up even the darkest of rooms, casting aside shadows and bringing warmth to those in her presence. It bore no pretence, no hidden agenda, but I understood what she was going through which was hidden deep inside her. The difficulties she is facing to live; but externally,  it was a pure and unadulterated demonstration of her inner beauty.

Her hair, a cascade of dark silky black, framed her face with an effortless elegance. It swayed with the rhythm of her movements, a tangible reminder of her vitality and spirit. She wore it not as a fashion statement but as an extension of herself, a reflection of her natural beauty.

In her choice of attire, there was a sense of purpose and individuality. She dressed not to conform to societal expectations but to express her unique style and personality. Her clothing resonated with authenticity, a reflection of her values and beliefs.

There was an undeniable strength in her presence, born of the challenges she had faced and overcome. It was in the way she carried herself, with a graceful and powerful poise. She was an identity to the idea that true beauty lies not in perfection but in embracing one’s flaws and imperfections.

Her authenticity extended beyond her appearance; it was evident in her actions and words, in a world often marred by superficiality.

The true beauty of this young lady was a rare and precious gem. It was a beauty that transcended physical attributes, a beauty that touched the soul and left a lasting imprint on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her beauty was a mesmerising composition of features that left an indelible mark on anyone who gazed upon her. Her almond-shaped eyes, a deep shade of black, held a timeless allure, their depth hinting at untold stories. Long, lustrous chestnut locks cascaded down her back in gentle waves, framing her face like a work of art. Her tanned cheeks, with a porcelain-like smoothness, bore the delicate flush of a rose petal, a canvas untouched by blemishes. The curve of her lips, adorned in a natural shade of soft pink, held an enigmatic charm, inviting one to decipher the secrets they concealed. Her figure was a graceful dance of proportion, exuding an effortless elegance that commanded attention without the need for extravagance. In every detail, from the gentle slope of her nose to the arch of her brows, she embodied physical beauty that was both captivating and timeless.

Her skin, a smooth tan with her sweat looking like pearl, its flawless complexion inviting the caress of gentle fingertips. The curves of her lips, painted in a shade of rosy temptation, invited lingering kisses, each one an exploration of passion and longing. Her figure, a sultry silhouette of sensuality, exuded an intoxicating aura of desire, every curve and contour a testament to the artistry of desire.

In every nuance, from the delicate arch of her brows to her inviting curves, she embodied physical beauty that was a sensual marvel, a temptation too exquisite to resist. Each movement she made was a seductive dance, a symphony of sensuality that left admirers bewitched by her alluring presence. Her hair repeatedly came to her face and she repeatedly threw them back. the beads of sweat that come down her face like pearls, speak the tale of her journey for survival.

I came back to my senses from my thoughts, when she asked me if anything else was required. I said “no” and paid her. She carried the bag, put it in my car and went to attend to the next customer without any reactions and just like a machine. Leaving the car there, I went to the grocery shop and handed him the list. I asked for a bottle of water and came exactly under the fan. I was sweating like anything. How these vendors were there in the scorching heat with only a plastic sheet over their heads for the full day surprised me and I did not bargain considering the way, they are fighting for survival.
