But still the plastic lives for days.

 Wrapped in progress, we fail to see, 

That land and sea now beg to breathe.

Let actions speak where words fall flat,

 Refuse the straw, the bag, the vat. 

Reuse, rethink, reduce the pile—

 To save tomorrow, start with a mile.
