Somewhere in every home lives a secret society of single socks. They vanish quietly, leaving their partners mourning in drawers.
Tonight, I found yet another lonely sock staring at me accusingly. It made me laugh. Maybe life, too, is like that drawer—full of little mismatches and absences we can’t explain.
So instead of sulking over what’s missing, I paired it with another lonely sock. Odd? Maybe. But comfortable.
Perhaps happiness is just this—accepting mismatches with a grin.
