A River’s Restless Song

Rivers never stay still. They curve, erode, nourish, and wander. Watching a river at dawn is like listening to a restless song—its waters carrying secrets of mountains, forests, and cities. Civilizations have risen on their banks, drawing strength from flowing currents. Yet a river is never truly possessed. It slips past boundaries, teaching freedom and impermanence.

Travelers who walk along rivers often find perspective. The same water that rushes wildly near a gorge may appear calm near a meadow. It is life’s reminder that pace changes, but movement continues. Sitting on a quiet bank, feet dipped in cool water, you realize the river mirrors existence itself—always flowing, never pausing, always alive.
