Wake up, dear friend, the sun is bright,
Your pillow still clings with all its might.
The tea is waiting, the toast is shy,
And the clock is laughing as minutes fly.

Don’t grumble now, don’t wear that frown,
The world won’t stop if you slow down.
So stretch, yawn big, and greet the day,
With humor to guide you along the way.
