It happens to everyone. You walk into a room with great purpose — and then, suddenly, blank. Was it your keys? Your phone? A snack? The mission is gone, and you’re left staring at the walls, hoping the answer floats back.

Scientists call it the “doorway effect,” where crossing a threshold resets the brain’s memory cues. But honestly, it feels more like the house itself is playing tricks. Maybe our rooms are secret comedians, waiting for the laugh when we turn in circles, clueless.
