When Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi returned from South Africa, then under the British, he came as a barrister — trained, suited, ready to argue cases. But something changed. What he saw in his land moved him deeply — poverty, injustice, and silence.
He shed the suit, kept only a dhoti, and stepped out to begin what the world now calls the Satyagraha movement — truth as a weapon against tyranny. His strength was not in arms but in conscience.
He is the Father of the Land in India, yet his message is global — that the most powerful revolutions begin in quiet hearts. Gandhi didn’t just fight for India’s freedom; he redefined what it means to resist — with peace, with truth, with love.
