1. The Cup
I dropped my favourite cup today. It didn’t break—but I did pause. Sometimes life gives small scares just to remind us what we still care about.
2. The Lift
This evening, the lift stopped for three seconds between floors. I panicked, then laughed at myself. Three seconds of darkness can feel like a whole story—but it always moves again.
3. The Stranger
A stranger held the door open for me at the store. Nothing dramatic. No movie moment. Just a simple kindness. Funny how those tiny gestures stay longer in the heart than half the big events of the week.
Nights become softer when small stories sit beside us.
