By evening, the body takes over the conversation.
The mind still wants to explain.
The body just wants a chair.
I noticed my shoulders today before my thoughts.
That told me enough.
Evenings don’t need reflection essays.
They need permission to slow down without guilt.
If your day was loud, let the evening be quiet.
If it was empty, let the evening fill itself gently.
Nothing important needs to be decided tonight.
Rest is not retreat.
It’s maintenance.
