It was close.
Close to becoming something you would remember. Close to turning into a thought you would carry longer.
But it didn’t.
It stayed at the edge — unfinished, unnamed.
And somehow, that is what makes it stay.
We often believe meaning comes from clarity. From things we can fully understand, explain, or conclude.
But some moments resist that.
They don’t complete themselves. They don’t offer closure.
They just pass… leaving a faint trace behind.
A conversation that almost opened up.
A feeling that almost surfaced.
A pause that almost turned into something more.
And yet, they remain incomplete.
Not broken. Just… left as they are.
Maybe not everything is meant to reach a conclusion.
Maybe some things are meant to stay in that space — just before meaning.
And maybe that is where they live the longest.
May the day carry ease, without the need to complete every unfinished thought.
