What the Mountains Teach About Perspective

In Switzerland, the mountains stand with a kind of quiet authority. They do not move, do not rush, and do not react to the changing activity around them.
Yet everything around them feels different because of their presence.
There is perspective in that stillness.
From a height, what once felt large begins to look smaller. Distances change. Priorities shift. The mind, which was caught in details, begins to see a wider picture.
We often live too close to our problems.
Every issue feels immediate, every concern feels urgent. Without distance, even small matters begin to feel overwhelming.
The mountains remind us to step back.
Not to ignore what matters, but to see it more clearly. To understand what deserves attention and what does not.
Perspective does not solve every problem.
But it changes how we carry them.
And sometimes, that is enough to make the path ahead feel lighter.
