What the Ancient Ruins Teach About Time

High in the mountains of Peru, ancient ruins still stand—quiet, weathered, and unchanged by the pace of modern life.
They do not speak, yet they carry time within them.
There is something humbling in that presence.
What once was active, important, and central has now become still, yet it remains. Time has moved, but not everything has disappeared.
We often think in short terms—today, this week, immediate results. But time works on a much larger scale.
What feels urgent now may not matter later. What seems small today may become meaningful over time.
The ruins remind us to think beyond the immediate.
To act with patience. To build with care. To understand that not everything needs instant validation.
Time has a way of revealing what truly lasts.
When you focus only on the present outcome, you may miss the larger journey.
But when you allow time to do its work, things settle into their true place.
Not everything needs to happen quickly to matter.
Some things become meaningful because they last.
