Leave the Day Without Carrying It Forward

As the day ends, it is easy to carry pieces of it forward.
Unfinished thoughts. Small disappointments. Things left unsaid or undone. They stay quietly in the mind, extending the day beyond its time.
But not everything needs to be carried.
Some things can be left where they belong.
A day is complete not because everything was perfect, but because it has passed. What was done has been done. What remains can wait.
Holding on does not improve it.
It only adds weight.
There is value in closing the day gently.
Let it settle. Let it rest.
Tomorrow will bring its own space to act, to adjust, to continue.
Tonight does not need to solve anything.
It only needs to release what has already happened.
And in that release, rest becomes easier.
