Yesterday, Spain returned to our readers’ map. Today, we celebrate one of its most remarkable traditions.
The Camino de Santiago, or the Way of Saint James, has drawn pilgrims across Europe for more than a thousand years.
People walk hundreds of kilometers through villages, forests, mountains, and historic towns.
Some travel for faith.
Others seek reflection, companionship, or personal renewal.
Yet all discover that the journey itself matters more than the destination.
Along the route, strangers become friends.
Simple meals become cherished memories.
Ancient paths connect modern lives.
The Camino teaches a universal lesson:
Life is not measured solely by achievements but also by the people we meet and the experiences that shape us along the way.
Every traveler carries a different story.
Yet for a brief moment, they walk together toward a common horizon.
