The Butterfly in the Monsoon Garden

After the first showers of the monsoon, a colourful butterfly returned to the village garden.
It drifted effortlessly from flower to flower, pausing only for a moment before moving on.
Children chased it with laughter but soon realised that beauty cannot be captured.
It can only be admired.
The butterfly carried no possessions.
Its wealth lay in freedom.
Nature often reminds us that life’s greatest joys are simple—a blooming flower, fresh rain, and a quiet moment outdoors.
The butterfly never stayed in one place for long.
Yet wherever it landed, it left the garden a little brighter.
Perhaps people can do the same.
A kind word, a gentle smile, or a thoughtful gesture may last only a moment.
But its memory can remain with someone for a lifetime.
