A lighthouse keeper climbed the winding staircase every evening to light the great lamp.
Storm or sunshine, he never missed a single day.
Ships passing far away rarely saw the keeper himself.
They saw only the guiding light.
Life is much the same.
Many of our finest contributions remain unnoticed.
Yet a word of encouragement, an honest action, or a helping hand may quietly guide someone through a difficult moment.
We do not always need recognition to make a difference.
Like the lighthouse, our purpose is fulfilled whenever our light helps another find a safe path.
