A hiker exploring a remote trail found himself in difficulty after losing his way.
As daylight began to fade, he searched for a familiar landmark but found none.
Then he noticed a goat standing on a nearby ridge.
The animal moved confidently along a narrow path before stopping and looking back.
Curious, the hiker followed.
The goat continued ahead, occasionally pausing as if checking whether it was being followed.
After some time, the trail widened and connected with a route leading back toward the village.
The goat wandered away without ceremony.
Whether the animal intentionally guided the hiker will never be known.
Yet the story became a favorite among local residents.
Animals often surprise us with their intelligence, awareness and ability to navigate landscapes that seem confusing to humans.
Sometimes help arrives from unexpected places.
And sometimes the guide who leads us home does not speak a single word.
