Many years ago, a struggling young writer received a handwritten letter from an elderly reader.
It contained no criticism, no advice, and no grand praise.
It simply said,
“Your words made me believe tomorrow could be better.”
The writer kept that letter for the rest of his life.
Whenever doubt appeared, he read it again.
We often underestimate the power of a few sincere words.
A message of encouragement may take only a minute to write, yet it can remain in someone’s heart for years.
Kindness is rarely measured by its length.
It is remembered by its sincerity.
