A child once asked his father why the moon seemed to follow their car.
The father could have simply said, “It doesn’t.”
Instead, he stopped and explained.
That small question opened a conversation about distance, perspective, and the vastness of the universe.
Children ask questions because they have not yet learned which questions are supposed to be “too simple.”
Perhaps we should keep a little of that quality as we grow older.
Curiosity keeps the mind awake.
It makes us notice what others overlook, question what we assume, and discover something new in things we thought we already understood.
Sometimes, a simple question is the beginning of a much bigger journey.
