A family once took their dog to a new place for a holiday.
The dog disappeared.
The family searched everywhere and eventually returned home heartbroken.
Several days later, there was a knock at the door.
Their dog was standing outside.
Dirty, tired, and looking extremely pleased with himself.
Nobody could understand how he had found his way back.
The family simply opened the door.
The dog walked inside, drank some water, ate his dinner, and went straight to his favourite corner as if nothing unusual had happened.
Perhaps animals understand home differently from us.
For them, home may not be an address.
It may simply be the place where the people they love are waiting.
And sometimes, that may be the best definition of home.
